Quality education is the bedrock of every nation. Right to education is enshrined in the national constitution and must be guaranteed. For this to be successful and effective means easy access to all. Accessibility is dictated by availability of requisite information concerning what is in existence. When this is established, citizens can then make informed choices for future careers in life.

  The Ghana Schools Online (GSO) Project by DOT Foundation with support from DOT House Company Ltd is dedicated to promoting education through ICT by focusing on research, design, development and management of web-based targeted products that provide day-to-day decision-making information to stakeholders.

Goals

Our mission is to use the Internet in partnership with the appropriate human resource to demystify issues concerning education by taking the needed decision-making information to the homes and offices of people both locally and abroad.

Ghanaschoolsonline therefore plans to:

1. widely disseminate information about educational institutions and their programmes and activities;
2. advise prospective students and scholars on educational plans, interests and career objectives;
3. assist in the placement of students in institutions of their choice at all levels of study both within the country and abroad;
4. assist in the recruitment of qualified personnel to engage in teaching and training programmes at all levels of education in Ghana;
5. assist in the acquisition of needed resources for distribution to educational institutions in the country.
