Mrs, Frempong, who works with Health Helping Aid (HHAID), a non-governmental organization (NGO) in the United States of America, made the call when she donated assorted books and provisions to Erickson International School at Akyem Anamase in the Birim ?South District. She also organized a mini party for 250 pupils of the school.
Mrs, Frempong stated that lack of such rules was a contributory factor to indiscipline on the pat of children.
“If rules are set for them at home, they will be disciplined enough to desist from social vices.” She said, adding that children always regarded their parents to exhibit quality lives for their children to emulate.” Mrs, Frempong added.
She commended the proprietor of the school for setting up the institution to complement the government’s efforts in providing quality education for children in the country.
The proprietor for the school, Mr Eric Kwabena Koreh, said the school, which was established in September 2004, had chalked up many successes in various national competitions.
He, therefore, appealed to the philanthropist to help develop the school’s infrastructure.
The Krontihene of Anamase, Nana Kwasi Yeboah, who chaired the function, expressed appreciation to the HHAID for supporting the school.
