THE Meridian Pre-University College President at Odorkor in Accra Mr. Tetteh Nettey has donated a computer and its accessories to the Technical Division of the Ghana Education Service (GES).

The items are to augment the number of computers at the service and to enhance its work.

Presenting the items, the President of the Pre-University College, Mr. Tetteh Nettey lauded the GES for using computer in the selection of student but called for an improvement of the system to make it more effective.

He said the college had plans to replicate those gestures in other institutions and establishments to enhance teaching and learning.

He said 880 students who graduated from the institute gained admission to various tertiary institutions across the country while 670 were currently undertaking various courses at the college.

Mr Nettey called on the students to be serious with their studies to enable them to become responsible people in future.

The head of Technical Exam-Unit of the GES, Mr. Peter Atobrah, who received the items, thanked the institute for the gesture and pledged that the equipment would be put to good use.
