Oh yes we have a Supreme Being, But we don't have a supreme being for only a group of people! He overseeth good and frowns on evil. Don't get it twisted, Tradition is as much as good as your faith! Heaven; if there is one is in the heart of the individual! Your ways will be your visa application, your righteousness will get you a ticket. There is no first class or Economy, neither is there rich or poor! When I DIE the drums will sound, warriors will pour in from every angle of my reach. The clouds will frown, it will pour mighty rains even in the driest of seasons, because my believe is deep, my heart is clean and so are my hands! When a man dressed in white gown refuses to recite a few chapters before my burial, I urge you my warriors to drum in fury, perform all the arts u know, let the world gather and see wonders; lead me to my grave yard, let the drums sound unceasingly, pour some libation, most of all let the best of drummers and dancers depict my time in life, put me to rest and I will face my judgement with a clean heart and my soul will be at rest! #myroots #mytradition |
